Integrative Therapy with Susannah Kavanaugh, LCPC
“Be patient with yourself. Shouting at a flower won’t make it bloom.” Charley Mackesy
I’m a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with over 15 years of experience supporting children, teens, adults, couples, and families. My clients have experienced anxiety, depression, academic pressures, job stressors, relationship difficulties, transitions, grief, complex family trauma, conflict resolution, and/or financial challenges.
My approach is strengths and values based. I am warm, collaborative, and direct in my communication style. I work to create a space where clients feel safe being themselves, talking openly, and building insight without fear of judgment. Together, we focus on enhancing coping skills, emotional awareness, and confidence to empower clients to live their best lives.
My style is eclectic and I draw from many evidence based constructs such as Gestalt Therapy, Family Systems, Financial Coaching, Grief Counseling, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I am a wife of 31 years, a mother of two amazing young men, an avid horsewoman, and a passionate dog owner.
