Jan Matney, nCenter Director, LCPC
My name is Jan Matney and I am the nCenter’s founder and Director, as well as a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Montana and a neurofeedback practitioner. I have worked counseling and training individuals and teams since 1990 using holistic, solution-focused approaches. I oversee the nCenter to ensure that clients receive the best care we can offer and that we address any concerns clients may have. My goal is to be a collaborative and respectful leader at work and to create and maintain a positive, healing environment
at the nCenter, both for staff and clients.
I have trained with Dr. Nick Dogris, PhD who, along with Bradley Wiitala, B.S.E.E. developed the NeuroField neurofeedback systems which we use widely at the nCenter. I also trained with Dr. Len Ochs who developed the Low Energy Neurofeedback System which we use at the nCenter. Besides these two systems we use various other systems to create the. My intent is to provide the best available neurotherapy to clients with autism, learning difficulties, depression, anxiety, ADHD, brain injury and behavioral problems.
I worked for many years as a senior trainer for the international, non-profit, educational organization, More To Life (www.moretolife.org). I trained for More To Life in the United States, the United Kingdom, South Africa and New Zealand.
