Jan Matney, LCPC
nCenter Director
Jan Matney is nCenter’s founder and director, as well as a licensed clinical professional counselor in the state of Montana and a neurofeedback practitioner. I have worked counseling and training individuals and teams since 1990 using holistic, solution-focused approaches. I oversee the neurofeedback at the nCenter to ensure that clients receive accurate neurofeedback protocols to support them in the counseling process and in their lives. My goal is to be a collaborative and respectful leader at work and to create and maintain a positive, healing environment at the nCenter, both for staff and clients.
Claud Matney, PE
Neurofeedback Engineer and Information Technology Administrator
Claud is a registered professional engineer in the state of Montana and the state of Texas. He has a B.S. in electrical engineering and an M.S. in civil and environmental engineering. His background in electrical engineering makes the Rife, Nogier, and Solfeggio frequencies employed in neurotherapy particularly interesting to me. I see the results that clients get from neurotherapy, and it is fascinating to me to see the practical application of frequencies, harmonics, and modulation in the healing process. Keeping voltages within safe milliamp ranges, we see positive results in cognitive efficiency, mood, and emotional regulation. I started out as a HAM radio operator in 1960…and now I’m known as the “Granddaddy” at the nCenter!
Alison Hall, PA-C
Medical Director
Alison Hall, PA-C, MPAS, is a licensed Physician Assistant with over twenty-four years of clinical experience as a Primary Care/Internal Medicine practitioner. She graduated from Quinnipiac University in Connecticut with a Masters in Health Science and Physician Studies in 1999. After using alternative medicine practices to heal herself from several autoimmune conditions, Alison began using these same practices to facilitate her clients to heal. She has studied Internal Family Systems, holotropic breathing and mindfulness, believing that these practices are a part of physical, emotional and psychological well-being.
Besides seeing clients on an individual basis at the nCenter, Alison also provides neurofeedback consultation and support. She is responsible for reviewing the qEEG brain map results for clients.
Alison has a love of nature and animals of all shapes and sizes. She lives on a small ranch outside of Bozeman where she feels most at home, spending as much time as she can in Montana’s great outdoors. She is an avid cyclist, skier and hiker and a woman who lives in gratitude for all that is.
Noah Marriott
Neurofeedback Supervisor
I serve as nCenter’s Neurofeedback Supervisor. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Montana State University and have spent the past 3+ years honing my Neurofeedback and qEEG brain-mapping skills. My background in psychology set me up for success here, but the real depth of understanding came from the work itself, and I'm still learning every day.
What draws me to this work is how it brings together two things I find genuinely compelling: the depth and uniqueness of each person's psychological experience, and the technical challenge of reading what a brain map is actually telling us. No two clients present the same, and I find real meaning in translating that complexity into a treatment tailored to each individual. I serve as nCenter's go-to for all things technical: I manage the systems and infrastructure our team relies on, and build specialized tools that support data analysis and protocol development. My philosophy is that technology should serve the clinician and the client, not the other way around.
A love for the mountains: snowboarding, backpacking, rock climbing, and mountaineering drew me from my home state of New Mexico (with a summer in Colorado for good measure) to Montana, where I've now lived for ten years. It was during my time studying Psychology at MSU that I was first introduced to Neurofeedback, when Claud came to speak in one of my classes. It was a moment that set me on the path I'm on today. Since then, I've developed a deep passion for technology, the entrepreneurial side of building something meaningful, and helping people reach their full potential in every aspect of life. At the center of it all is my wife, Emily, my favorite, exceedingly patient, adventure partner who makes it all possible.
