Medical Weight Management & GLP-1 Care in Great Falls, MT
Local, medically managed weight loss at Montana Skin & Laser and Center for Weight Management.
If you've been reading about Wegovy, Zepbound, or the new GLP-1 pills and wondering whether they're right for you, this is a good place to start. This isn't an online prescription service. You'll sit down with a local nurse practitioner who reviews your health, orders labs when they're needed, picks a medication that fits you, and keeps seeing you as your treatment goes on- no referral needed.
nCenter Counseling & Neurofeedback partners with the clinic in Great Falls, which is why they’re featured here.
GLP-1 medications work with the hormones that control appetite and fullness. Most people on them feel satisfied sooner and think about food less often. Tirzepatide goes a step further and acts on a second hormone, GIP, as well. Most are once-weekly injections. Foundayo is a once-daily pill. Doses start low and increase gradually.
The clinic prescribes these medications when they're clinically appropriate:
Semaglutide, sold as Wegovy (FDA-approved for chronic weight management) and Ozempic (approved for type 2 diabetes)
Tirzepatide, sold as Zepbound (FDA-approved for chronic weight management) and Mounjaro (approved for type 2 diabetes)
Orforglipron, sold as Foundayo, a daily pill (FDA-approved for chronic weight management)
Not every medication is right for every person. Which one fits depends on your health history, whether you have type 2 diabetes, how you tolerate it, and what your insurance covers. That's decided at your medical evaluation, not ahead of time.

What the program includes
This is a medically managed program, not a prescription alone.
A full medical assessment of your health history, current medications, and goals
Baseline and follow-up lab work when it's needed.
Individualized medication selection and dose adjustments.
Follow-up visits, often weekly while you're starting a medication and adjusting the dose.
Nutrition and lifestyle support, including coaching with the clinic's certified nutritional consultant.
Metabolic health monitoring.
Body composition and progress tracking, so you see more than a number on a scale.
Continuous glucose monitoring when it's clinically useful.
Sleep and sleep apnea evaluation when it's relevant to your weight and metabolic health.
Other wellness therapies, discussed individually at your consultation.
The most common side effects are digestive, like nausea, especially as the dose goes up. Your provider adjusts the pace so your body can keep up.
More than a prescription
Medication changes appetite. It doesn't change everything else that makes weight hard: stress, sleep, old habits, how you feel in your body. That's where whole-person care comes in.
Skin tightening and body contouring. The clinic offers laser skin tightening and body contouring for patients who want them as their body changes, all in the same office. Laser services are cash pay.
Brain-based support for the hard parts. Through its partnership with nCenter, the clinic offers qEEG brain mapping and neurofeedback in Great Falls. It doesn't treat weight. It can support what makes change harder than it should be: stress, poor sleep, focus and mood.

Weight and metabolic health rarely stand alone. Blood pressure, blood sugar, cholesterol, and the medications you already take all play a part. Dr. Strable provides primary care and medication management at the clinic, so your weight loss journey and the rest of your health can stay in one place with one provider who knows the whole picture. [CONFIRM scope: general/chronic-condition medications, psychiatric medications, or both? If psychiatric is included, add "including medications for anxiety, depression and ADHD": that's a bigger opportunity than one sentence.]
Medication management is provided by Montana Skin & Laser and Center for Weight Management in Great Falls. It is not offered through nCenter.
